Week #51 — Vision: Create Your Own Reality

Great persuaders have and can instill a commanding view of the future with their audience. When you want to influence others, it is essential that you have a strong and clear vision. People come on board when they can see that there is a vivid, solid vision in place that they can touch, taste, feel, or see. No one wants to buy stock in a sinking ship. People want to know: What’s the plan? Where are we going? What are we aiming for? In other words—what is the vision? Your job is to powerfully present how your vision is the solution to their problems. Your vision must bridge the gap between their present situation and their desired situation—where they are, and where they wish they could be.
